Boxers are a breed that is eager to please and that’s no surprise that Boxers are more likely to be affectionate with family and friends. Boxers are children at heart and are great with young children. Boxers score high for the breeds level of tolerance and patience with the behavior of children and family. The coat of Boxers is smooth/short and have a minimal shedding level and grooming frequency. The drooling level of Boxers is about average compared to other like breeds.

 Boxers are social by nature and their openness on meeting new people is above average compared to other breeds of the working class. The playfulness of Boxers is high that they are likely to be enthusiastic when it comes to playtime well into their adult years. Another attribute that Boxers have is to alert their owners of strangers and have the watchdog/protective nature. The energy and trainability level of Boxers is superior to its peers and the breed will have tendencies to learn new things. Barking level of Boxers is about average to other breeds and Boxers are more likely to stay happy and healthy if they have a job or activity.
